Arabia Insurance
The call came from Andy Mcleod of Film Canary Islands, after a month of on and off, the Arabia Insurance commercial was happening. I was to be assistant producer / prop master on this shoot. Being enitrely shot underwater my diving was to come in very useful.
The shark cage was constructed by local fabricators in Tenerife, saving on transportation costs from the UK. The cage, built in hollow rolled low grade steel tube and box section, was designed for lightness rather than practical shark protection safety! A glass fibre great white shark head was commissioned from a London prop makers.
